General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
Welcome
By using and booking our saunas via www.saunli.de, you agree to these General Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, unfortunately we are unable to provide our services.
The following sections include:
-
Rules of Use
-
Rental Terms
§ 1 Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders and bookings made through our website www.saunli.de.
These Terms and Conditions apply to both consumers and businesses.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession (Section 13 German Civil Code (BGB)).
A business is a natural or legal person, or a partnership with legal capacity, acting in the exercise of its commercial or independent professional activity when entering into a legal transaction (Section 14 German Civil Code (BGB)).
§ 2 Contracting Party, Conclusion of Contract, and Correction Options
The purchase contract is concluded with Saunli GmbH.
Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian and are not permitted to enter into a contract independently.
The presentation of booking options on our website does not constitute a legally binding offer but merely a non-binding online catalogue. You may initially place products in your shopping cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order by using the correction tools provided during the ordering process.
By clicking the order button, you submit a binding offer to purchase the products contained in your shopping cart.
Confirmation that we have received your order will be sent by email immediately after submission.
We accept your offer within two days by either:
-
sending a separate email confirming acceptance; or
-
processing the payment transaction through our payment service provider or the payment provider selected by you.
The timing of the payment transaction depends on the payment method chosen (see "Payment"). The contract is concluded when the first of these events occurs.
Saunli reserves the right to amend the legal provisions and these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The version published on the website at the time of your booking shall apply.
§ 3 Contract Language, Storage of Contract Text, Applicable Law
The language available for concluding the contract is German.
We do not store the text of the contract.
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. For consumers, this shall apply only insofar as the protection granted by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence is not withdrawn.
The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is excluded.
Ich kann anschließend Teil 2 (§ 4–§ 6), Teil 3 (§ 7–§ 8) und Teil 4 (§ 9–§ 10) im gleichen juristisch präzisen Stil übersetzen.
§ 4 Payment

§ 5 Cancellation Rights
You may cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before the start of your booked session.
Refunds will be processed no later than 14 days after cancellation.
If you cancel between 48 and 96 hours before the start of your session, 50% of the booking price will be refunded.
A cancellation fee of €10 applies and will automatically be deducted from your refund.
Saunli GmbH reserves the right to cancel bookings without providing reasons.
Saunli cannot guarantee weather conditions. In the event of extreme weather or other force majeure events, including pandemics, war, rebellion, blockades, natural disasters, strikes, lockouts, import restrictions, hyperinflation, robbery, or burglary, the customer is not entitled to a refund for services that cannot be provided.
The location of a Saunli sauna may change depending on weather conditions and the season. A change of location does not constitute grounds for cancellation or withdrawal from the contract. A sea view is not guaranteed.
Deposits made for the purchase of a Saunli sauna are non-refundable.
§ 6 Right of Withdrawal – Gift Card
When purchasing a gift card via the website, the customer has a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with the applicable statutory withdrawal regulations.
Where possible, refunds will be made using the same payment method that was used for the original purchase.
Saunli automatically sends an order confirmation immediately after a reservation has been completed.
Gift cards are valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase and cannot be extended.
Both the reservation and the actual sauna visit must take place within one year from the purchase date.
Only one gift card may be redeemed per booking. It is not possible to combine multiple gift cards for a single booking.
Gift cards may be redeemed exclusively for stays in a mobile Saunli sauna booked through Saunli.de.
§ 7 Handover and Return of the Saunli Sauna
Guests are responsible for managing their own booking time. No refund will be granted in the event of late arrival or if a booked time slot is missed.
The sauna will be handed over to the next guests in a technically sound and broom-clean condition.
Normal wear and tear of a purely cosmetic nature, such as minor scratches or paint damage, shall not be considered defects.
§ 8 Limitation of Liability
We shall be liable without limitation in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions for any culpable injury to life, body, or health. This also applies, in particular, to mandatory liability under the German Product Liability Act.
In all other cases, we shall only be liable for damages if they result from:
-
a breach of an essential contractual obligation; or
-
intentional misconduct or gross negligence on the part of us, our legal representatives, or our vicarious agents.
Where an essential contractual obligation is breached due to slight negligence, our liability shall be limited to the foreseeable damage typically arising under the contract.
An essential contractual obligation is an obligation whose fulfilment is necessary for the proper performance of the contract and on whose compliance the customer may regularly rely.
Any further liability for damages is excluded.
We accept no liability for personal belongings brought into or left inside the sauna.
